Two med tech companies get grants from NCIDEA

Two medical technology companies receive grants out of the five awarded from NCIDEA for the Spring 2010 cycle: BioShape Solutions (RTP, NC) which is developing medical devices that permit simple and effective local delivery of therapeutic agents around surgical implants, focused initially on delivering antibiotics for the prevention and treatment of orthopaedic implant infections; and
Patagonia Health (Cary, NC), with an easy to use Electronic Medical Records software designed for physician’s small practices. For more information, click here.
